Colleges attended and Degrees earned: Cincinnati State where she received an Associates Degree in Ornamental Horticulture. She earned a BA in Science, Secondary Education at Miami University. Masters is pending from Miami University.
Mrs. Pope has been with the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place School District for 20 years. All 20 years have been spent at the Junior High, High School level.
Mrs. Pope's current teaching assignment is Eighth Grade Science, High School Anatomy and Physiology, and High School Practical Horticulture. She has held the position of State Park Naturalist at Hueston Woods State Park for four years and as a Horticulturist for Kings Island for 10 years. Mrs. Pope worked as a free lance landscape architect since 1977. She is Buffalo Clan Mother of the Shawnee Nation, United Remnant Band (Native American).
